The Nusa Timur Mandiri Foundation (YNTM), in collaboration with the Bikomi Utara District Agricultural Extension Officer, conducted a spraying activity on the garden belonging to Mr. Yakobus Saba, located in Napan Village, RT 02/RW 01, Bikomi Utara District, North Central Timor Regency, on Thursday (January 8, 2026).
This activity is part of YNTM's sustainable agriculture mentoring program, which aims to increase crop productivity while encouraging the use of environmentally friendly fertilizers. The program was coordinated directly by YNTM Program Manager, Mr. Heppy Sastra, and implemented through the spraying of the Eco-Enzyme Liquid NPK fertilizer on plants in the demonstration garden.
The activity was facilitated by the Bikomi Utara District Agricultural Extension Officer, Ms. Evi Mezak, and Ms. Ignosa Unab. They provided technical explanations to farmers regarding the benefits, dosage, and application method of the Eco-Enzyme Liquid NPK fertilizer to achieve optimal and sustainable yields.
Through this activity, YNTM hopes that farmers will become more open to organic and semi-organic farming innovations, thereby increasing crop yields, maintaining soil fertility, and supporting food security in the North Bikomi region. (Roman)
