The Nusa Timur Mandiri Foundation (YNTM) continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting sustainable agriculture in border areas. Today, YNTM Program Manager, Heppy Sastra, and his field team applied NPK eco-enzyme liquid organic fertilizer to the farmland of the Hidup Baru Farmers Group in Napan Village, North Bikomi District, North Central Timor Regency.

The activity was also attended by local agricultural extension workers, who provided technical assistance and strengthened farmers' understanding of the proper, safe, and effective use of liquid organic fertilizer.

In his statement, Heppy Sastra explained that this activity is part of a farmer empowerment program focused on environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture.

"We encourage farmers to switch to NPK eco-enzyme liquid organic fertilizer because it is safer for the soil, plants, and human health. We hope this will increase productivity, reduce production costs, and make farmers more independent," said Heppy.

He also added that YNTM will continue to provide ongoing support so that farmers can produce and apply organic fertilizer independently in the future. Meanwhile, the agricultural extension workers in attendance emphasized the importance of collaboration between supporting institutions and the government in strengthening farmer capacity. The presence of these extension workers also ensures that practices implemented in the field comply with good agricultural technical standards.

The Hidup Baru Farmers Group welcomed the activity positively. The farmers stated that they found the direct assistance in the fields helpful, covering application techniques and dosages, as well as understanding the long-term benefits of liquid organic fertilizer for soil fertility. Through this activity, the Nusa Timur Mandiri Foundation affirmed its role as a strategic community partner in promoting improved farmer welfare and sustainable agricultural development in rural and border areas.
